Chartered Market Technician CMT :-
The Chartered Market Technician (CMT) credential is the global standard for practitioners of technical analysis and technical risk management. The designation is awarded to those who demonstrate mastery of core body of knowledge in risk management and portfolio management settings.
The objectives of the CMT program are :-

To professionalize the discipline of technical analysis.
Those candidates who successfully completed all three levels of the CMT examination and agree to abide by the CMT Association Code of Ethics are granted the right to use the CMT credential.
The CMT Level 1 :-
The CMT Level 1 Exam measures the basic competence of an entry-level analyst. The CMT Level 1 Candidate should have a working knowledge of the terminology used in the required readings, be able to identify the concepts discussed in those readings, and have a definitional understanding of the Analytical tools presented in the required readings.
Exam Time Length : 2 hours, 15 minutes
Exam Format : Multiple Choice
The curriculum is organized into exam specific knowledge domains that provide a framework for recognizing and implementing investment/trading decisions. The CMT Level 1 Exam tests the candidate's knowledge in 12 domains:-

The CMT Level 2 Candidate should have a knowledge of Application of Concepts, Theory & Techniques used in the required readings, be able to identify the concepts discussed in those readings, and have a definitional understanding of the Analytical tools presented in the required readings.

Exam Format : Multiple Choice
